Akari Charges middle blocker Fifi Sharma is slowly making a name for herself in the volleyball universe with her powerful hits and game-changing blocks in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). Recently, sje added another milestone to her career: becoming a news anchor for TV5’s “Frontline Pilipinas.”
Debuting last November 11, Fifi took on the role of anchoring the sports segment, delivering news that’s close to her heart.
Asked by main news anchor Julius Babao about her experience delivering sports news, Fifi shared that while she felt nervous, she was also excited.
“Nakakakaba, sobra. Pero masaya po kasi first time ko pong gumawa ng ganito, sa live. So, kaya po sobrang nakakakaba siya,” said Fifi.
She also revealed that being a news anchor was actually on her bucket list. “Actually, dream ko po. One of my dreams is to become an anchor. So, I mean, manifest!” Fifi said.
After her debut, Fifi continued to anchor the sports segment for a few more episodes.
