Uratex, a major player in foam manufacturing in the Philippines, made waves on October 22. They didn’t just set a new world record for the longest human mattress dominoes, but they obliterated it.
With 2,355 mattresses in play, they left Brazil’s 2019 Guinness World Record of 2,019 mattress in the dust. Take a bow, Uratex!
And as a cherry on top, actress and Uratex brand ambassador, Kathryn Bernardo, graced the official attempt with her presence, adding a touch of glamour and class to the spectacle.
But the real story came after the record-setting feat: Uratex announced that all 2,355 mattresses used in the event would be donated to 55 charity organizations.
In their social media post, Uratex said, “2,355 mattress fall = 2,355 comfortable sleep for those in need.”
“We broke the #GuinnessWorldRecord for the Largest Human Mattress Dominoes with 2,355 participants and will donate all mattresses to 55 charities,” it added.
