Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl quest fueled by Taylor Swift’s Grammy victory—’I have to hold up my end of the bargain’

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has found a new motivation to win the Super Bowl LVIII, and there's nothing sporty about it.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers are set for a titanic collision on Monday at Super Bowl LVIII.

But for Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, there’s more than just football on the line—he’s got some serious motivation to win the National Football League (NFL) championship courtesy of his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

In a recent press interview, Kelce couldn’t contain his admiration for Swift, especially after her recent Grammy win for Album of the Year with “Midnights.”

“She is unbelievable. She is rewriting the history books herself. I told her I have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware too,” said Kelce, referring to his quest for the Super Bowl title.

But let’s not forget, Kelce isn’t exactly a newcomer to success. With two Super Bowl championships under his belt (LIV, LVII) and four First-team All-Pro selections (2016, 2018, 2020, 2022), he’s already a gridiron legend.

The power couple, who started dating in 2023, has been turning heads both on and off the field, with Taylor often spotted cheering on her beau at Chief’s games.

Kelce couldn’t be more grateful for the support from Taylor’s devoted fandom, lovingly dubbed the Swifties.

“Taylor has an unbelievable fan base that follows and supports her throughout her life and it’s been fun to kinda gather the Swifties into the Chiefs’ kingdom,” he shared.
