Travel hack: South Korea visa made simple for BPI, RCBC, and Metrobank credit cardholders!

The South Korean embassy has simplified the application process for credit card users from three more banks.

Good news for those eyeing a trip to South Korea but dreading the visa process!

The South Korean embassy has expanded its simplified visa processing from BDO to BPI, RCBC, and Metrobank credit cardholders from July 22 to December 31, 2024.

Now, if you own a credit card from any of these banks, you can say goodbye to the hassle of submitting bank certificates, bank statements, and ITRs. Instead, simply provide an original certificate of employment, a copy of your credit card (front only), and the last three months of your credit card account statements.

But there are still some must-haves. Visa applicants will need to show proof of relationships and other necessary documents. And the Embassy stressed that while this perk streamlines the process, approval of visa application is not guaranteed.
