As a kid, Francis “Antet” Amoroso had always wanted to travel but couldn’t because his family had none to spare for such pursuits. Now, this creative Pinoy is living his dream with his wife and children in tow.
Tired of mundane morning views, he decided to do something extraordinary, transforming an old jumbo passenger jeepney into a cozy blue camper van fondly called “Bahay Jeep ni Antet.”
The revamped ride is now taking Antet and his family on the longest adventure of their lives, crisscrossing the archipelago, waking up to a buffet of vistas, from the ordinary to breathtaking.
The move has inspired thousands to join their family on social media to see what adventures each new place would offer for this traveling bunch.
Step inside this jeep and you’ll find it kitted out with all the essentials: a CR, a small kitchen fit for the family’s little culinary exploits, a snug living area, and a sleeping space.
What’s more, it’s powered by a solar panel for a constant energy supply. If they need to juggle work, school, and entertainment, some areas moonlight as convertible workspaces. They also have a roof deck for stargazing at night and 300 liters of water for daily use.

Followers on social media, or as they’re affectionately called “ka libot, are in for a thrill ride across the Philippines. Antet estimates six months or even a year to traverse Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Through Facebook, TikTok, and the YouTube channel “Bahay Jeep ni ANTET,” he shares his journey, proof that people can chase dreams no matter where they come from.
“Since I was a kid I have wanted to explore the world. Now, that I am an adult, let’s start by exploring the whole Philippines with my family, friends, and newly met strangers.”

Their escapades aren’t solitary affairs either. Often, locals hop aboard to serve as impromptu guides leading them to hidden gems like pristine lakes or beaches for a refreshing dip.

Over the past four months, this “Bahay Jeep” has been on an epic adventure through Luzon, weaving through Cavite, and Quezon, and threading through the beautiful provinces of Bicol.
The joyride has now brought the family to Sorsogon City and is currently parked at Pepita Park, where they are waking up to stunning views of Sorsogon Bay and Mt. Bulusan.
