For some people, having a child is a dream, and transman Jesi Corcuera is no exception.
Even though he’s already the proud co-parent to his partner Camille’s kids, Jesi always had his heart set on having a little one of his own, and that dream finally came true.
In an Instagram post, Jesi revealed that he’s pregnant—something he’s been planning for since 2018 through in vitro fertilization.
“2018 nung simulan kong planuhing magkaroon ng anak. Pero that time, maraming struggles, lalo na financially and hindi rin naman biro ang gastos sa unang plano kong mag-IVF,” shared Jesi.
“Fast forward ngayong taon, di ko in-expect na mabubuo siya through my last option na ako ang magdadala pero sobrang thankful ako na pinagkaloob ito ng Diyos sa akin,” he added.
Jesi also opened up about how being a father figure to Camille’s kids prepared him for this epic moment. “Sa pagtayo ko bilang tatay ng mga anak ni Cams, maraming naging realizations. Isa na dun yung baka may chance pa pala akong magkaroon ng sarili kong anak,” he said.
But he made it clear that having a kid of his own won’t change his love and commitment to Camille’s kids.
“Alam kong may mga anak akong inako kay Cams at walang mababago dun sa pagdating ni ‘Ninja’ (nickname ng baby ko Hahaha),” said the alumnus of the local talent search program “StarStruck.”
Jesi concluded his post with a shoutout to everyone looking for a little inspo in life: “Samahan niyo kami sa bagong journey ng buhay kong ito. At sana kapulutan ng aral at inspirasyon ng marami.”
