Ma. Angelica Faye Dela Victoria only prayed to simply pass the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination she took this month, but what she got was beyond her wildest dreams.
Not only did she ace it, she snagged the top spot out of 1,288 successful examinees, scoring 89.7 percent, and also took home Php300,000 in cash incentives from her alma mater as a bonus.
Dela Victoria, a 23-year-old from San Carlos, Negros Occidental, said she was in the middle of watching K-drama at home when she found out about her stellar performance.
“All I asked for was to, at least, have an average good enough to pass the boards, but He gave me even more than what I prayed for. Pure grace, pure faith,” she said, sharing her joy on Facebook.
She also recalled what her sister told her: “gel, never i-underestimate si Lord.” “These were the powerful words my sister shared with me after I poured my heart out to her following the exam.”
Adding to the fairytale moment, Dela Victoria also received Php300,000, plus free plane tickets and hotel accommodation for her upcoming oath-taking from her alma mater, Riverside College in Bacolod City, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Dela Victoria and all the board passers from the school were also treated to a lavish buffet, reported Digicast Negros.
