A widow finally ate the last meal her late husband prepared, which she had kept frozen for two years.

A widow on TikTok has gone viral after sharing the deeply emotional moment she finally ate the last meal her late husband made for her before his sudden passing.

Sabrina Chae, a content creator documenting how she navigates grief, lost her husband Tony to cardiac arrest in 2022. But before his death, he had made her Japanese curry, her special request that day.

For nearly two years, she kept it frozen, unable to bring herself to eat it. But on the final day before moving out of their shared home, she decided it was time.
Sabrina chose to share her emotional moment with her followers on TikTok as she partook of the last food that her husband made for her before he died at 35.

“Tony was the primary cook of our family and anytime I was craving anything, he would make it for me. That was one of the many ways that he showed love to me,” she said.

“Thank you for sharing your last meal by Tony with all of us!”

“By eating his last meal, the food did not simply vanish—it became a part of you.”

“I kept my mom’s kimchi for as long as I could. I ate it the night I got my heartbroken and felt so comforted. Food is such a strong connection to those we know we can’t hold anymore.”

“Just thinking how his hands cut the ingredients and his heart cooked it with love made me sob. What a beautiful moment”

“He made sure you were well fed for your move”
