Easily recognizable for her signature curly locks and doll-like eyes, Lottie Bie skyrocketed to online stardom thanks to her hilarious skits. She’s all about showing her 2.5 million Tiktok followers the power of their “raw, unfiltered” selves.
Lottie Bie joined the video-sharing platform in late 2021, experimenting with different content formats like song covers and dance videos before settling on skits.
One of her OG hits was her gig as the fictional “Princess of Magindale.” Believe it or not, some peeps bought into it.
“So tinuloy-tuloy ko siya, ‘yong panti-trip online hanggang sa na-realize ko na ang saya pala ng parang ganitong content, mayroon akong alternate world online. Doon po siya nag-start,” she said in a TeleRadyo Serbisyo interview last week.

How does she whip up her TikTok goodness? Lottie Bie said she goes freestyle whenever she can, no scripts needed, unless it’s some branded gig.
“For my personal TikToks, I try to be as lax as possible kasi mas lumalabas ‘yong flow mo, ‘yong adlib, ‘yong monologue and dialogue kapag free-flowing siya for me,” she shared.
Fast forward to 2023, Lottie Bie is now a published author promoting her book “Crumpled Pages,” a collection of illustrated letters that never made it to their intended recipients.
The letters, she said, represent emails that were left unsaid or TikTok videos that never saw the light of day, all because of self-doubt.
“Your thoughts, your ideas na feeling mo hindi good enough may still be good enough for someone. And your raw unfiltered emotions, your raw unfiltered thoughts, mas ‘yon pa talaga ‘yong makakapagparamdam sa mga tao,” the Tiktok star said.
“Minsan tayo ‘yong pumipigil sa sarili natin, na [kapag] nilabas pala natin, okay naman pala. We are our own worst critic,” she continued.
Introverted childhood
With all of her recent achievements, it may be hard to imagine that the 29-year-old Lottie was an introverted kid.
“Growing up as an only child, ako ‘yong kausap ko sa kwarto. Bihira ako lumalabas. Pinsan ko lang sa compound, siya na lang nakakasalamuha ko or sa school,” Lottie shared.
“Pero most of the time, it’s just me and my imaginary friends so feeling ko doon na kami lahat nanggagaling.”
As a kid, Lottie’s parents were all about nurturing her artistic side.
“Yung mom ko, lagi po akong ini-enroll sa mga workshops. Nag-theater ako nung bata ako. I did play Gabriella Montez in High School Musical, mga ganun,” she told PEP.ph
“I did acting also. Painting din po. Then mahilig ako sa poetry, anything creative. Pero ang hina-hina ko sa math.”
Lottie also revealed that she was diagnosed with ADHD or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in 2020.
“So na-realize ko kung bakit kalat po ang aking utak at kung anu-anong mga nangyari sa ‘min dito sa loob, doon siya nanggagaling,” she said.

Becoming Lottie
When Lottie took up Communication Arts at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Manila, a friend gave her the nickname that would eventually become her online alter ego.
“Tinatawag niya ‘kong ‘Lottie’ kasi, I don’t know, bagay sa buhok, ‘KuLottie.’ Bagay ‘yong ‘Lottie’ do’n sa Princess Sarah, ‘Lottie’ iyakin. Parang gano’n ‘yong vibes niya,” she said.
“Yong ‘Bie’ po, galing siya sa real name ko in real life na ‘di ko masyadong shine-share para maka-order ako sa FaceBook Marketplace nang ‘di nila nalalaman.”
IRL, Lottie had worked as an events coordinator, editor, and English teacher.
Currently, she’s the boss behind commercials, music vids, and all sorts of short-form content at Secret Menu (formerly Globe Studios).
So what’s next for Tiktok’s favorite funny girl?
“‘Di ko po alam kung p’wede ko na siya sabihin, pero gusto po nating pasukin ang music. Dito po tayo in the works and sana maparami pa po natin ang ating mga libro bilang gusto ko po talaga ‘yon, ang pagsusulat,” she said.
“And sana magkaro’n pa po tayo ng mga project for films kasi recently po naging part ako ng Cinemalaya, sobrang nakakataba po ng puso na maging parte ng pelikulang Pilipino. Sana mas dumami pa ‘yong mga maging serbisyo ko sa entertainment industry sa Pilipinas.”
