A café in Naga City has recently introduced a new drink to its menu that’s both Instagram-worthy and meaningful: “Leni’s Favorite Pink Latte.”
Dedicated to former Vice President Leni Robredo, the café whipped up this pink-hued drink to celebrate her impact on society and her loyal supporters, fondly called “Kakampinks.”
Made with natural beetroot, the latte boasts a striking pink hue and a subtle earthy sweetness. “Perfectly warm and comforting, it’s the drink that’s as empowering as it is delicious,” shared the café in a Facebook post, describing the qualities associated with Robredo and her advocacies.
Beyond its aesthetics and taste, the pink latte also has a meaningful purpose. The café announced that 15% of the total sales from this special drink will be donated to Angat Buhay, the foundation Robredo launched after her term as vice president.
Angat Buhay continues to implement programs that address various social issues, staying true to her commitment to serve marginalized communities.
