The local government of Angeles City just conjured up some serious plant magic that’s set to revolutionize local farming and delight every plantita and plantito out there.
It recently revealed that it has successfully concocted an organic liquid fertilizer made from organic waste. This breakthrough concoction will be given for free to farmers and residents to give their plants and gardens a major glow-up.
This innovation uses black soldier fly technology and fermentation, which was pioneered by the late City Engineer Donato Dizon, according to the Angeles City Information Office.
Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. has declared this groundbreaking elixir free especially for farmers because of its wealth of benefits, outshining traditional granular fertilizers.
“The organic liquid fertilizer improves nutrient absorption for plants, increases soil fertility, and reduces environmental impact,” said the city’s PIO.
To produce more of this liquid fertilizer, the mayor encouraged residents to turn over their biodegradable waste to the local government. It has even opened its Central Composting Facility for everyone who wants to give this extraordinary project a big boost.
“Naging katuwang po natin sa proyektong ito ang namayapang si Engr. Dizon na kung saan ang hangarin po ng siyudad ay ang mabawasan po ang organic waste natin at mapakinabangan ang by-product nito na fertilizer ng ating mga magsasaka at residente para sa kanilang mga pananim,” said Lazatin.
