The Force is strong in this Pinoy family: Manny Jacinto and his parents light up Star Wars red carpet!

Philippine-born actor Manny Jacinto shares the red carpet for the newest Star Wars TV series, “The Acolyte,” with his Pinoy parents.

The Skywalkers have been the front and center of the Star Wars saga loved by generations. But in its latest chapter, another family is gaining the spotlight—and they’re Filipino!

Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto, who plays Qimir in the new Star Wars series “The Acolyte,” made a splash at the red carpet premiere bringing along his parents, Lito and Emmy Jacinto, who flew all the way from Canada to Hollywood to celebrate their son’s big moment.

Manny shared photos of this memorable red carpet walk with his parents on Instagram, including a shot of his dad holding a Jedi Master Yoda balloon with a short congratulatory message.

Manny, born in Manila and of Filipino-Chinese descent, moved to Vancouver as a child and later to California.

In a report by ABS-CBN News, the elder Jacintos shared how proud they are of their son for working hard. “He was shy as a kid, but that changed along the way,” recalled Lito.

Now, their son will be watched by many as Qimir, a former smuggler turned trader with a knack for the extraordinary in “The Acolyte,” now streaming with new episodes every Tuesday on Disney+.
