Taste of Philippines brings a flavor fiesta to Rochester—the first Pinoy resto in town!

Filipino restaurant Taste of Philippines in downtown Rochester, Minnesota is not only serving delicious Pinoy food, but also culture and experience.

Filipino flavors are making waves across the US, and the latest sensation is Taste of Philippines—the first-ever Pinoy restaurant to grace the streets of Rochester, Minnesota.

But this food establishment is serving up more than just mouthwatering classic Pinoy dishes. “It’s not only the food, but it’s the experience, the culture, and the atmosphere, and to delight the customer,” said owner Irene Mills in an interview with a local television station, KTTC.

What’s the secret ingredient to their success? According to Irene, it’s the love from the Rochester community and its appreciation for the Filipino dishes they serve.

“It brought me happiness because they really enjoyed the food,” said Mills, who has been calling Rochester home for eight years now.

Located in the Skyway Food Court on 1 Avenue Southwest, the Filipino restaurant opened its doors on November 1, offering a mouthwatering menu featuring signature dishes like adobo, pancit, menudo, monggo, and halo-halo.
