SM Foundation’s act of kindness touches 15,000 flood-hit residents in Pampanga, Bulacan, and Bataan

About 15,000 families benefitted from aid delivered by the SM Foundation in the wake of Typhoon Egay.

Amid Typhoon Egay’s relentless impact, SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI), the social arm of the SM group, swooped in with Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) to provide relief to affected communities nationwide.

Through OPTE, SMFI and SM Supermalls distributed Kalinga Packs, loaded with essential goods benefiting approximately 15,000 people. SM employees visited flood-stricken communities in Pampanga, Bulacan, and Bataan to personally deliver the goods and interact with the residents.

This program, a collaboration between SM Foundation, SM Supermalls, and SM Markets, focuses on assisting communities during calamities and crises.
