In Pandi, Bulacan, the writing on one wall warns passersby, “Bawal umihi dito, pero si Ivana Alawi puwede.”
The hilarious message had social media in stitches, including the Kapamilya actress-model herself.
In a video shared to her 20 million Facebook followers, Alawi documented her travel from Quezon City to Pandi just to meet Armando, the genius behind the viral graffiti.
“Ang layo ng binyahe namin pero happy ako na na-meet na kita,” the actress told Armando, who gave Alawi a bouquet of flowers as soon as they met, all according to his wife’s instructions.
Armando said he pulled off this stunt two years ago to express admiration for Alawi in a unique way.
“Maraming [nagsasabing] I love you kay Ivana Alawi. Maraming nagha-hi. Ang dami, generic na. Kaya [ginawa namin iyan kasi] yung uniqueness, papansin talaga siya,” he said.
True to her trademark humor and charm, the actress whipped out her own portable toilet to comply with the “rule” and even spray-painted her name on the infamous wall.
The 26-year-old YouTuber also surprised Armando with P50,000 cash for making netizens happy.
“Tooo? ‘Di ako makapaniwala,” the fan said.
Turning emotional, he added, “Hindi ko alam na may paganito. Ma-meet lang si Ma’am Ivana, all good na… Kapag may pangarap kayo sa buhay, talagang matutupad.”
The actress ended the visit by taking a photo with Armando, posing together as if to pee in front of the wall.
“Bawal umihi diyan, ako lang daw pwede,” she captioned the photo.
