Just days after settling their trademark issue for the use of the SB19 name and logo, Pablo, Stell, Josh, Ken, and Justin received a new honor to cap a rollercoaster year of highs and lows.
SB19 was honored with the Golden Underground Record Award by the Pop Golden Awards, for their song “Bazinga.” The category specifically focuses on outstanding songs and releases that have not gained widespread popularity despite their epic beats and lyrics.
Despite its release last year, “Bazinga” still drew the attention of the award-giving body because of its massive impact on music lovers across the globe.
The Pop Golden Awards, a global celebration of pop culture influencers, honors artists and icons whose creativity transcends borders and languages. It’s a recognition of the universal language of art, where talent and innovation shine on an international stage.
Of course, A’TIN, always ahead of the game, were quick to celebrate. Fans were one in saying that despite the Pop Golden Award not being the biggest name in the biz, they see it as a positive sign that SB19 is making a mark in the international music scene. They’re also manifesting a GRAMMY stage appearance for MAHALIMA next year.
