An Instagram page devoted to Philippine history, Pinoy Time Travel AI thought about doing a feature of Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s sweethearts and bringing their photographs to life through the use of AI.
Among the women who received the AI treatment were Rizal’s childhood sweetheart Leonor Rivera, Rizal’s puppy love Segunda Katigbak, Leonor Valenzuela, Consuelo Ortiga Y Rey, O Sei San, Gertrude Beckett, Nellie Boustead, Suzanne Jacoby, and his wife Josephine Bracken.
Fans were amazed by how natural the AI transformations seemed, making the women look vibrant even though the original photos were old.
