Olivia Rodrigo can confirm what many already believe: the Filipino throat chakra is no myth.
In an interview with W Magazine, the Fil-Am pop star shared that even though she has performed in sold-out stadiums around the world, her recent concert in the Philippines was not only her first visit to the country, but also one of the most memorable stops of her tour.
“Just about a month ago, I got the opportunity to go for the first time. I played a show there and it was the biggest show of my career and the audience was singing back the words to me and they were all outstanding singers,” she said.
“All the rumors are true. Filipino people are incredible singers,” she confirmed.
The “Vampire” singer previously talked about her Philippine concert in a talk show guesting. She also celebrated her first visit to the Philippines by selling her concert tickets for a flat rate of Php1,500 and donating the proceeds to charity.
