Chino Sy Tancontian clinched the gold medal in the Blue Belt Adult Super Heavy Division at the 2024 SJJIF World Jiujitsu Championships, held in Nagoya, Japan. Tancontian secured his victory with a powerful left-side Ippon Seio Nage followed by a cutting armbar submission.
Meanwhile, the Junior Grappling Team also delivered a remarkable performance by producing 16 World Champions in both Gi and No-Gi categories at the event.
Among the Gi World Champions were Brielle Bartolome, Cesca Lepiten, Claudia Lepiten, Tessa Joson, Tomas Joson, Ali Joson, Uno Orduna, Ethan Ramos, Yuan Santos, and Franco del Pilar.
