Filipina teen tennis sensation Alex Eala is showing no signs of slowing down as she continues to rapidly ascend in the global rankings of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
According to the latest rankings dropped by the WTA, Eala has managed to reset her career highs in singles and doubles rankings at 180 and 293, respectively.

Alex soared from her previous singles career high of 184 to 180, showcasing her talent and determination. She is coming off a quarterfinal exit in the W75 Porto held in Portugal after falling to Hungaryβs Anna Bondar. On the other hand, Alex climbed to 293 in the rankings, smashing her previous high of 30. This was on the heels of a similar quarterfinal exit in the doubles play of the W75 Porto with her partner, Ali Collins of Great Britain, where they lost to British Alicia Barnett and German Anna-Lena Friedsam. With every match, Alex is making her mark in international tennis while proudly carrying the Philippine flag.
