Pinay hero caregiver in Israel drops epic wisdom to colleagues—‘Don’t ever leave older people. God will protect you like he protected me’

OFW Camille Jesalva gives heartwarming advice to fellow caregivers.

Pinoy caregiver Camille Jesalva became a real-life hero when she made a brave choice to stand by her 95-year-old patient, Nitza Hefetz, during the terror attack of the Hamas militant group in Israel.

Her incredible act of compassion even caught the attention of Hollywood legend James Woods, who likened her bravery to the heroism of Filipinos during World War II.

In a recent interview with the media, Camille shared her priceless advice for fellow caregivers: “Don’t ever leave older people. God will protect you like he protected me.”

Camille said she promised Nitza to stay by her side until her last breath. “I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if she died because I left her,” she said, according to an Inquirer.net report.

After her near-death experience in Israel, Camille’s heart is set on temporarily returning to the Philippines to be with her family this Christmas.

“I also want to be with my son and he always asks me to go home for Christmas and my birthday,” she shared.

For Nitza, there’s peace in knowing that Camille will soon be back by her side, keeping her promise.
