While global fans celebrated the Philippines’ back-to-back wins at Miss Grand International in Thailand, another Filipina beauty made waves in Malaysia.
Mutya ng Pilipinas Christine Eds Enero nearly secured another consecutive win for the country at the Miss Tourism International pageant but finished as Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International. The coronation took place at Resorts World Genting on Saturday, October 18.
This is the same title that Leren Mae Bautista won for the Philippines in 2015, in a pageant organized by the same group behind Miss Tourism International.
Meanwhile, Liana Barrido of the Philippines, the reigning Miss Tourism International 2024, passed her crown to Zuzanna Balonek of Poland, who triumphed over 49 other contestants.
