Mas makakahinga ng maluwag ang mga breast cancer patients dahil tinaas ng Philippine Health Insurance Corp. ng 1,300% ang coverage para sa breast cancer sa ilalim ng “Z Benefits” package mula Php100,000 hanggang Php1.4 milyon.
“Breast cancer is really very common with everyone. That 14 times increase, I think that’s just one of the accomplishments [of PhilHealth] that can put a smile on the face of the Filipino people,” ani PhilHealth President and CEO Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. sa ulat ng Inquirer.net.
Ang pagtaas na ito ay epektibo ngayong buwan ng Marso, na sakto rin sa pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month.
Ma-aavail ang PhilHealth’s Z benefit package sa 18 hospitals sa bansa, kabilang ang East Avenue Medical Center sa Quezon City at Philippine General Hospital sa Manila.
