The Philippines is once again vying for the spotlight with its world-famous tourist spots.
The country has been nominated in multiple categories for the 23rd Annual Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2024, hosted by the UK’s longest-running travel magazine, Wanderlust Travel Magazine.
In a Facebook post, the Department of Tourism (DOT) announced the Philippines’ nominations in several categories and subcategories of the awards.
The agency encouraged Filipinos to vote for the Philippines in three major categories: Most Desirable Country, Cebu as Most Desirable Region, and Palawan as Most Desirable Island.
The DOT also highlighted that the Philippines is up for the title of Most Desirable Country in five subcategories: Adventure, Nature and Wildlife, Culture and Heritage, Gastronomy, and Sustainability.
The best part? Millions of Filipinos have the power to help the country win these prestigious titles.
“Show your love for the Philippines by voting,” the DOT urged.
