Another day, another flex for Palawan.
The stunning Philippine destination has been crowned No 1. in the World’s Best Islands to Visit for 2025 by US News and World Report, thanks to its dream lineup of adventures for thrill-seekers and beach lovers alike.
In its April 22 post, US News hyped up some of Palawan’s must-visit spots like its crystal-clear Kayangan Lake in Coron, the paradise lagoons of Bacuit Bay in El Nido, and the kayak-perfect caves along the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.
Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco in a statement celebrated the win.
“This incredible honor affirms what we Filipinos have always known: that Palawan, with its pristine turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs, majestic underground rivers, and rich biodiversity, is truly a paradise unlike any other,” stated Frasco.
She added, “As we mark this milestone, we invite the world to come and experience why Palawan—and the Philippines—should be at the top of every traveler’s bucket list in 2025 and beyond.”
