‘No, girl. ‘Wag Talaga!’: Arci Muñoz now advocates for natural beauty after years of surgery

Actress-singer Arci Muñoz used to love cosmetic surgery, but now she’s advising women to rethink it.

If there is one person who’ll tell you to think twice about going under the knife, it’s Arci Muñoz, who’s now all for embracing natural beauty after years of undergoing plastic surgery.

The singer-actress openly admitted that while she once saw cosmetic surgery enhancements as a way to reinvent herself, she now regrets having them done. But instead of dwelling on her past decisions, she’s using her experience to discourage other women from making the same choices.

“May mga regrets din ako pag dating d’yan eh. Pero alam mo, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na God has a purpose because I learned,” she said in a recent interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

“When someone approaches me, if I think they don’t really need to do it, no. No, girl. ‘Wag talaga. You’ll regret it, sige ka. So ako talaga, ‘yun pala. ‘Yun pala ‘yung reason. ‘Yun pala ‘yung purpose ko,” she added.

The “Sinagtala” actress recalled how her younger self was always chasing reinvention, leading her to make impulsive decisions about her looks. “Dati ito ha, pero ngayon mas less is more talaga,” she said.

Looking back, she wished someone had guided her before she made permanent changes. “Wala kasing nag-guide sakin. I do whatever I want. If I can go back to that time when I didn’t touch anything, I would go back there,” she said.

Now, when someone asks for advice on plastic surgery, Arci always urges them to think long and hard before making a decision.

“I always tell them you really have to think it through. Huwag kang tutulad sa akin na talagang very ang tigas ng [ulo],” she said.
