In a heartwarming rescue effort, the Provincial Veterinary Office of Davao de Oro, along with dedicated responders, sprang into action to save the lives of 23 dogs and 27 cats as of Feb. 16 after a landslide hit Masara and neighboring Mainit in Maco.
These beloved pets were inadvertently left behind as residents rushed to prioritize their own safety during the forced evacuation mandated by the local government following the tragic landslide on Feb. 6.
Fortunately, the team at the Provincial Veterinary Office of Davao de Oro with partners like the Tagum Obedience Kennel and GOOD Samaritan of Tagum, are persisting in their efforts to ensure no furbaby gets left behind.
