Move over videoke parties and gift certificates. Local retail giant BENCH has just shown big-time businesses how to shower employees with the ultimate benefit bonanza.
And BENCH employees who went on a Hong Kong Disneyland getaway courtesy of their big boss Ben Chan couldn’t help but unleash their joy all over the internet, drenching social media with words of gratitude and pledges to level up their hustle game.
For the 35th anniversary of the iconic fashion brand, Ben Chan, the founder and CEO of BENCH, took the whole fambam—475 of them—on a magical adventure at Hong Kong Disneyland as a thank-you note honoring their hard work and devotion that’s been fueling the brand’s success.

Melany Mostar, an employee at one of Bench’s branches in Naga City, couldn’t help but flex her luck on her Facebook account showing tidbits of the best work perk she has received yet in her lifetime.
“My heart is super kilig 1Mx,” she posted. “Thank you so much po Sir BC for letting us experience the magic of Disneyland! Such a momentous day for us! Forever grateful to you Sir,” she said in another post with pictures of the escapade.
Another employee, who has been with the company for 32 years, Eiline Arcamo also took to Facebook to send her boss some heartfelt digital love for the wonderful reward. “I am grateful to be one of 475 loyal employees embracing the magic of Hong Kong Disneyland with BENCH Founder.”
“From the bottom of our hearts, a huge THANK YOU Sir BC! Everyone’s faces on this trip exude pure joy! It was such a wonderful treat to be with the Bench family in Hong Kong! We are truly grateful to you and to the entire EXCOM! May God Bless you richly!” said employee Tin Montinola.
Eliza Lagamayo also sent her thanks to her boss on social media for the wonderful trip. “We are on our way back to China and everyone had the best time. We are bringing with us memories that will inspire us to contribute more to Bench’s success.”
The heartwarming gesture also resonated with Pinoy netizens who cheered on the move, and while they clapped for the brand, they also wished for a touch of the Ben Chan magic in their own workplaces.
