After gracing the big screen in 2006 and conquering theater stages with successful adaptations, Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah is stepping into the animated world courtesy of Rocketsheep Studios.
With four years of development, the studio announced that they are nearing the finish line and are excited to unveil this long-awaited animated feature to fans worldwide. And to kick things into high gear, they’ve dropped a sizzle reel teasing some of the movie’s most thrilling moments.
For the uninitiated, Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah follows the story of a timid gay man who accidentally ingests a magical rock, transforming him into a flamboyant female superhero—an original creation of Filipino illustrator and graphic designer Carlo Vergara.
Originally brought to life in graphic novel form, Zsa Zsa’s popularity skyrocketed, leading to film and theater adaptations. Notable portrayals include Rustom Padilla and Zsa Zsa Padilla in the movie version, while the theater stage saw the likes of Eula Valdez, K Brosas, and Kim Molina stepping into the iconic role.
