A collab between millennial icons SexBomb Girls and Gen Z favorite BINI sounds wild, but for Jopay Paguia, it is very much on the table.
The SexBomb Girls member recently shared that she is open to sharing the stage with BINI, the P-pop girl group that has helped the genre back in the spotlight. Speaking on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Jopay also added that she feels nothing but pride for the younger group.
“Ako, sobrang proud ako sa BINI noong nagkaroon po dito talaga kasi bibihira lang po talaga magkaroon ng P-pop dito po talaga,” she said in the interview.
“So kung sakali pong makakasayaw po namin sila, bakit hindi po? Nakakatuwa po ‘yon,” she added.
The SexBomb Girls rose to fame in the early 2000s as the resident dance group of the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!,” becoming pop culture staples with their signature routines and catchy chants.
Recently, the group proved that the hype is still very much alive. They held a reunion concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Dec. 4, followed by another show at the the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Dec. 9.
Thanks to strong fan demand, the SexBomb Girls are set to return for a third and fourth “rAWnd” of their show on Feb. 6 and 7, once again at the Mall of Asia Arena.
