Meet TuyTuy, the adorable star of the Presidential Car Museum’s National Flag Days celebration!

Adopted dog TuyTuy gets a cameo role in the National Flag Days hype video of the Presidential Car Museum

To kick off the National Flag Days, running from May 28 to June 12 leading up to Independence Day, the Presidential Car Museum of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) released a video package showcasing its preparations.

But the spotlight isn’t just on historic presidential automobiles—TuyTuy, the adorable canine who’s become a regular at the museum in Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City, is also grabbing attention in the video.

In a Facebook post, “TuyTuy the Presidential Doggo” hyped up his cameo in the video: “Panoorin nyo po itong video para makita nyo po ang aking special participation,” he said.

In the video, museum personnel and staff members can be seen cleaning the presidential cars and placing busts of former presidents beside their respective vehicles. The museum is also seen being decked out in national flags.

“We begin decorating our Museum with the National Flag. We also encourage everyone to do the same in their homes, schools, and workplaces in anticipation of National Flag Days,” said the NHCP.

Towards the end, TuyTuy is shown proudly sitting, flanked by Philippine flags, adding an adorable touch to the preparations.

For those not in the know, TuyTuy was adopted by the museum’s personnel and is now a beloved presence, often spotted greeting visitors and lounging near historic automobiles.

For those eager to see TuyTuy and check out the presidential cars, the museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
