Sharon Cuneta is not just the Megastar of Philippine showbiz, she’s got a heart as big as her fame, especially when it comes to rescue dogs.
Last week, Sharon made a visit to Pawssion Project, a non-profit that rescues pups in need, where she treated the dogs to tasty burgers. But there was one pup, Scout, who left with more than just a full belly—he managed to steal Sharon’s heart.
As Sharon was leaving with her own pack of dogs, Scout dashed out, thinking he was going home with her.
“When I was leaving with Bella, Pixie and Pawi on their leashes and Daisy in her Kuya Joe’s arms, Scout was the only one who ran out to “join” us! He thought he was going home na with us,” said Sharon in an Instagram post.
Well, Scout’s little mix-up turned into a blessing, because he’s officially going home with the Megastar! And after surviving parvo, distemper, and erlichia, Scout definitely deserves a loving home.
Pawssion Project confirmed the good news on Instagram. “Just in case you haven’t seen it yet, our dearest Scout, is going to be a mega dog already!” said the group.
“Scout, met mother @reallysharoncuneta few days ago, and stole her heart. Ayun, na mine, na IG official, na flex na! 🥹 He will come home to the Cuneta-Pangilinan home this year,” it added.
Sharon also made it IG official, posting a cute photo of Scout curled up with a doll and captioned it: “Baby Scout mana to Mama…Still a baby boy!😂😂😂”
