If there ever was a sign that Gloc 9 was meant to write his hit song “Sirena,” it would be his son coming out to him in the most beautiful way.
In an emotional interview, the rapper revealed that when he wrote “Sirena,” his son had yet to confide in him about his gender identity. But life had its own plan, and the song took on a deeper meaning to their family when his son bravely came out.
“Minsan iniisip ko how life gives you hints of magic here and there. And I don’t mind. Anak ko ‘yun,” he said.
“My son is gay.
The rapper reiterated that no matter what gender his son chose to embrace, he would still be proud of him and as a father, he would be the most excited to see what he can achieve in his life.
