Fresh from designing the Philippine national costume that clinched a Miss Universe win, Pinoy designer Mak Tumang stepped back into a chapter that helped shape his career as he returned to the TADHANA stage for its 10th edition.
In his latest post, the designer looked back on joining the very first TADHANA a decade ago, calling it a turning point for a young creative who was still finding his place.
“Ten years ago, I was a young dreamer given the chance to be part of the very first TADHANA. It was a moment that shaped my beginnings, a stage where passion met purpose,” he said.
Now invited once again, Tumang described the experience as a full-circle homecoming that brought a surge of memories and gratitude.
He shared that stepping onto the same platform that once took a chance on him reminded him of the growth, pride, and artistry that have carried him through the years.
The designer thanked TADHANA for its continued trust and support over the years, acknowledging how the show has been part of his creative and professional journey.
“Here’s to the stories, the friendships, and the enduring spirit that continues to inspire us all,” he added, signing off with the phrase “Perlas ng Silanganan,” a nod to Filipino identity and artistry.
