‘Lord of the Rings’ fanboy completes massive diorama of Helm’s Deep to fulfill childhood dream

Artist and LOTR fanboy finally completes Warhammer scale version of Helm’s Deep after three months of hard work.

Content creator and “Lord of the Rings” fan Zorpazorp has recreated Helm’s Deep, one of Middle-earth’s most iconic locations, at Warhammer scale.

According to Zorpazorp, who is also an artist, he’s been working on the project since October, with the help of the talented team at Wētā Workshop.

“Using references from the original Helm’s Deep filming model, they crafted highly detailed 3D files, which we then upscaled and 3D printed. After that, I added hand-carved details and hobby touches to make it perfect for Lord of the Rings Warhammer gameplay. I made a few tweaks to balance screen accuracy with playability, and I’m thrilled with the results so far!” he said excitedly.

He added that it’s been a childhood dream of his to work on a scale model of the legendary fortress and gave a shoutout to Jules German and Leonard Ellis for their role in the artwork.

Other fans seemed to have lived out their dreams vicariously through the content.

“Dude so excited to see it all come together! The patreon updates have been brilliant too, the passion is really oozing out and it’s so hype mate!”

“My boyhood self would literally have killed to have this board – a dream made reality. I’m happy I can live vicariously through this channel :)”

“Boom! The stables were an unexpected and awesome surprise. This thing just keeps getting more epic every episode.”
