At 33 years old, single mom-of-two, actress Jennica Garcia opened up about how she draws inspiration from her mother, premiere actress Jean Garcia, to navigate life’s hurdles.
In an interview with broadcaster Karen Davila on her vlog, Jennica shared how her confidence stems from witnessing her mom navigate single motherhood and believes that if Jean could handle it, so can she.
“A lot of the big decisions that I made in my life, my confidence came from how I saw my mom did it,” said Jennica. “She was able to handle it well. And if she was able to handle it, I’ll be able to do it too,” she added.
Jennica proudly highlighted her ability to restart her and her children’s lives after parting ways with former beau Alwyn Uytingco.
She also recounted saving hard-earned money to provide her kids with what she considers luxuries like an air-conditioning unit and water heater, celebrating these wins as a testament to her resilience.
While acknowledging fears about her kids growing up without their father, she remains optimistic about overcoming challenges with her mother’s guidance.
Jennica candidly admitted her concern about her daughters potentially facing the same pitfalls she did—falling for guys who profess love but later leave.
But with her superhero mom as her guiding light, Jennica expressed confidence that they’ll conquer any obstacle together and overcome her fears for her children.
