Designed by architect Robert M. Gurney, the 15,400-square-foot home features a mix of classic architecture and modern, minimalist interiors.
And right at the heart of that polished aesthetic are two standout pieces in the mansion by Cobonpue: Croissant Easy armchair and the Balou sofa.
The Croissant armchair, made from handwoven abaca fiber and a steel frame, mimics the soft curve of the pastry it’s named after. Its airy weave lets light pass through, giving the room a sense of texture and movement.
The Balou sofa, inspired by the gentle character Baloo from “The Jungle Book” has a rounded frame and deep, plush cushions that invite relaxation.
