Actor Arjo Atayde has sent the K-drama fandom into a frenzy, and it’s all thanks to his enviable encounters with their stans and fave K-drama stars, mingling and even snapping selfies with them.
The Pinoy actor and congressman attended the prestigious Busan International Film Festival as one of the nominees for Best Lead Actor at the 2023 Asian Content Awards and Global OTT Awards.
Arjo got the nod in this much-anticipated category due to his stellar performance on ABS-CBN’s “Cattleya Killer,” a mind-bending psycho-thriller series where he plays top agent Anton dela Rosa.
In a fierce competition, Arjo faced off against formidable rivals like K-celeb heavyweight Ryu Seung Ryong of “Moving,” Fan Wei of “The Long Season,” Nat Kitcharit of “Delete,” Satoh Takeru of “First Love,” and Yagira Yuya of “GANNIBAL.”
But for K-drama fans, the real star of the show was his epic photo ops with Ryu Seung Ryong, who scored the Best Lead Actor title, and Korean sensation Lim Ji-yeon, who bagged the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the K-drama hit “The Glory.”
Kathy Inyeop, a K-drama fanatic and digital creator, summed up the fandom’s feels perfectly in her Facebook post, along with photos of Arjo’s chilling with these K-drama icons: “ISANG MALAKING SANA ALL ARJO ATAYDE!!”
