“Being included in the ‘Top 12 Spotlight’ was a validation of not just my work, but also of the journey I’ve embarked on as an independent designer. Despite the challenges of limited resources and promotion, this recognition allowed me to share my passion with a wider audience and shed light on the stories behind my creations,” ani Monticelli sa isang panayam sa ABS-CBN News.

“Sustainability is a guiding principle that shapes every facet of my work. By opting for natural materials and partnering with communities of skilled artisans, such as the weavers in the Philippines, through my creations I am also supporting livelihoods and preserving age-old craftsmanship for future generations,” dagdag pa ni Monticelli.
