From strangers to squad goals: The evolution of rising P-pop group BINI’s sisterhood revealed!

From total strangers to squad goals, P-pop girl group BINI is all about inspiring the next gen of P-pop to chase their dreams.

BINI, the rising stars of P-pop, got the entire country breaking into dance with their catchy tunes and impressive choreography like “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin.” But would you believe they weren’t exactly the tight-knit crew you’d expect when they first came together under ABS-CBN in 2018?

In an interview with broadcaster Karen Davila on her vlog, the group—composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Sheena, and Jhoanna—unanimously exclaimed “NOOO!!!” when asked if they were friends before forming the group.

“May times na grupo grupo kami. Kasi ibat ibang lugar kami galing. Iba iba belief, culture,” shared Maloi.

However, despite their initial differences, the BINIs eventually formed strong bonds and now consider each other family.

Maloi added, “Nagkaroon lang kami ng bond talaga is nung tumagal ang trainings. Sobrang helpful yung tumira kami sa isang bahay. Bond namin naging stronger and now we are like family.”

Now, with hearts as one, the BINIs have a shared mission in their careers: to inspire today’s youth to pursue their dreams fearlessly, regardless of age.

“Our goal is to inspire ang mga kabataan. Kami, nagsimula at an early age, 15, 16. So parang gusto namin iparating sa kanila na walang age ang pagabot sa pangarap,” said Jhoanna.
