Back in 1991, actress-host Amy Perez graced the screens as a guest anchor for the “Star News” segment of ABS-CBN primetime newscast, “TV Patrol.”
Fast forward to 2024, “Tiyang Amy,” as she is now fondly called, was recently back in the anchor seat, co-hosting TV Patrol Express!
In a Facebook post by TV Patrol, it shared a side-by-side comparison of Amy’s stints in 1991 and 2024, both times rocking her signature red ensemble.
“Tila may full circle moment si Tiyang Amy Perez nang pansamantalang maging co-anchor sa TV Patrol Express ngayong Pebrero 22, 2024,” said TV Patrol. “Noong 1991, nagsilbing guest anchor ng ‘Star News’ ng TV Patrol si Tiyang Amy,” it added.
The internet couldn’t handle the nostalgia overload, with many fans noticing that Amy barely aged a day despite the 33-year gap between the screenshots.
