Foodpanda’s ‘Ka-pandaBIZ: Wow’ program gives women entrepreneurs the keys to success!

Foodpanda launches Ka-pandaBIZ program to arm women delivery riders with the necessary tools and know-how to start their own businesses.

With a Php 100,000 capital each, selected beneficiaries of Foodpanda’s Ka-pandaBIZ: Women on Wheels (WoW) program are getting a golden ticket to jumpstart their very own small businesses.

Launched on International Women’s Day, Ka-pandaBIZ: WoW trains the spotlight on the invaluable contributions of women in the communities. And thanks to Foodpanda’s logistics arm, women delivery riders are set to receive top-notch livelihood training and comprehensive packages to support their ventures.

“With Ka-pandaBIZ: WoW, we are not just celebrating women, we are actively working to enhance their productivity, income, and living standards,” said Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead of Foodpanda logistics Philippines.

He also emphasized the importance of supporting their delivery partners, particularly women Ka-pandas, towards success and improved livelihoods.

Sanders shared that this focus has already led to a remarkable threefold increase in women joining the Foodpanda logistics delivery team in 2023, a testament to its effectiveness.

Under the program, these aspiring entrepreneurs will undergo a comprehensive training regimen, including online sessions, personalized mentoring, on-site retail store visits, and catch-ups with mentors, all facilitated by Foodpanda logistics’ official partner organization, HAPINOY.
