Hachiko might be Japan’s most famous loyal dog, but the Philippines has its own heart-tugging story, and his name is Tigre.
In a TikTok post by netizen @cijey.7, their family dog Tigre can be seen quietly staying by the coffin of their late grandfather, refusing to leave his side even after he passed.

According to @cijey.7, Tigre stayed beside the coffin almost the entire time, as if keeping watch over the man he loved. The video has touched hundreds of thousands, with many saying they were moved to tears by the dog’s silent show of loyalty.
