For this doggo, the fifth time’s the charm.
After what seemed like forever, Jetjet, a rescue dog, has finally found a loving family to give him a home for good and shower him with unconditional love and endless belly rubs he deserves. And that lucky day came on his fifth adoption drive on Sunday with the nation’s celebration of Aspin Day.
The energetic furball had been under the watchful care of Pawssion Project Foundation for quite some time. His journey to a loving home had been anything but smooth as his previous owners had to give him up because of neighbors who complained about his presence.
But thankfully, the Pawssion Project Foundation swooped in to save the day. Dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals who have faced neglect, and abuse, this non-profit group embraced Jetjet and provided him with a temporary haven while he waited for his perfect match to take him home.
Jetjet had been brought to four adoption drives, each time hoping for a place to call home, yet leaving each event without a family to call his own. “No one seemed to like me,” said the foundation in a previous Instagram post, speaking for the dog.
But it seems the universe had plans for Jetjet. The group on Monday joyfully revealed that his miracle has finally happened and he went home on Sunday to a family of doctors, who has a soft spot for rescue dogs.
“His mom saw our post and she felt she needed to see him, and that’s it. She asked her dad if they could take him in and without second thoughts, her family agreed,” recounted Pawssion Project of the heartwarming moment.
His new life began with a gentle introduction, nestled in an open cage to meet his new fur siblings. “Soon, he will be free roaming with the rest of the pack in a very big garden with their own pool, but even now, he is already super loved and he is very happy to be home,” said the foundation.
