Fiesta Carnival to give Pinoys classic holiday feels when it makes a grand comeback this Christmas season

Fiesta Carnival is making a grand comeback at the old location of Shopwise and will surely send many Pinoys on a nostalgia trip back to childhood.

It’s confirmed! Fiesta Carnival, the iconic holiday destination touted as Manila’s Disneyland in the 70s and 80s, will be making a grand comeback to Araneta Center this October to complete the Pinoy Christmas spirit.

The development was announced by Lorna Fabian, vice president for leasing of the Araneta Group, reported Interaksyon.

Due to the current renovations taking place in the vicinity, Fiesta Carnival is returning to its old stomping grounds, setting up camp at the old Shopwise spot. Filipinos who grew up with fond memories of the old amusement park will be happy to note that this year, it will feature its most popular attractions such as a Go Kart, bump cars, and other rides.

Classic rides like the Merry Go Round, Ferris Wheel, and duck boats might also make a comeback when the carnival reopens.

A mini version of the amusement park was opened last January at Times Square Avenue corner General Roxas Avenue in Araneta Avenue and offered free entrance for specific times to parkgoers.
