Fan approved! Eric Nam will be the voice of Aang in new ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ film

Eric Nam will take on the role of Aang in the upcoming “Avatar: The Last Airbender” animated movie.

South Korean singer, host, and YouTube star Eric Nam has joined the cast of the upcoming “Avatar: The Last Airbender” film. He will take on the lead role of Aang, the titular last airbender in the movie.

Eric shared the good news on his social media accounts, adding that he will be lending his voice to the beloved animated character. Apart from Eric Nam, Dave Batista was also confirmed as one of the voice actors in the anticipated addition to the franchise.

Recently, Netflix revived the Avatar franchise with the live-action adaptation of the animated series that ran from 2005 to 2008. The series was widely lauded for its central themes of friendship, and adventure, and introducing sensitive themes of war, imperialism, and free choice to young minds with an impressive balance of maturity and lightheartedness.
