Jodi Sta. Maria didn’t expect her coat to turn into carabao merienda while filming at the Philippine Carabao Center in Nueva Ecija, but netizens think the animals just proved she’s not just a talented actress but also certified animal magnet.
While shooting scenes in what appears to be for her upcoming vlog, Jodi stood near a pen as she delivered her spiel, only for the resident baby carabaos to start feasting on her white lab coat.
In her Instagram post, the actress couldn’t help but laugh as two carabaos started munching the edge of her coat. “Met the cutest baby carabaos at the Philippine Carabao Center 🥹 My heart melted. Gusto kong iuwi. Kahit makulit sila. Pwede kaya? 🙏🏼” she wrote in the caption.
While the behind-the-scenes clip got the internet laughing, fans were quick to point out that animals always gravitate toward kind souls, and Jodi’s track record proves it. The actress has adopted a couple of rescue dogs and a stray cat over the years.
