Epic Pinoy mukbang: British-Am Youtuber Kristopher London, NBA All-Star JJJ take on Pinoy classics— Jollibee Chickenjoy is their GOAT!

British-American YouTuber Kristopher London dives into Filipino delights with NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. and rates the flavors. Yass or Pass?

When tourists hit the Philippines, it’s usually all about those Insta-worthy beaches and the Pinoy hospitality that keeps them coming back for more. But sometimes, the real superstar is the Filipino cuisine that’s even gone global.

British-American YouTuber Kristopher London took on this tasty challenge. NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. joined the party, too, fresh from repping Team USA at the FIBA World Cup.

On the menu for London’s mukbang Pinoy edition are Jollibee Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, and other iconic Pinoy dishes like lumpiang shanghai, lumpiang ubod, laing, Bicol Express, sinigang, and binagoongan. But did they make the cut?

Drumroll, please! Jollibee Chickenjoy takes the crown, which London scored a perfect 10 out of 10.

“Okay. This is like a 10. I think I gotta get the bucket,” London declared, chowing down on that “juicilicious” and “crispilicious” grub. JJ couldn’t resist and joined the mukbang vlog, helping himself to a handful of Chickenjoys.

“Try the chicken. Chicken is actually phenomenal,” London told Jackson, who had several pieces of the Chickenjoy throughout the video.

Jolly Spaghetti? London was shook! “Oh no! This is not spaghetti. Why is it sweet? There is sausage. I don’t know if i should swallow it. The spaghetti is not for me,” admitted the social media personality.

As for the rest of the lineup, it was a wild ride. Sinigang had “good flavor,” but that smell? Not it.

Binagoongan? A solid “pretty good.” Lumpia got mixed reviews—the shanghai was “sweet like donut,” while the ubod had “a lot going.” Bicolandia’s spice sensations? London’s verdict was obvious: “spicy” and “hot” for Bicol Express and pinangat.

Pro tip from London: Many of these dishes were vibing better with some rice! (He got that right!)

Amidst the hits and misses in this epic Pinoy mukbang, one thing stood tall—the world-famous Filipino hospitality. “The people are great. The food has been great. I love the people here,” said London.

Mabuhay!
