‘Embrace and understand our failures’: Neri Naig-Miranda’s ‘Wais na Misis’ is lit with life lessons, tips to slaying life’s plot twists

“Wais na Misis” Neri gives fans a lowdown on what to expect in her debut book.

Celebrity mom and entrepreneur Neri Naig-Miranda has just dropped fans an exciting sneak peek into her very first published book, “Wais na Misis,” and it’s a true goldmine of life lessons about embracing life’s setbacks and trusting in the divine plan.

Intriguingly, Neri’s Instagram post introduced her book with a burning question: “Ano ba yung nilalaman sa Wais na Misis book?”

She bravely opened up about her failures within the book, and there’s quite a handful.

“I talked about my failures sa libro. Marami talaga. Yung mga pagsubok na mapatatanong ka talaga kay Lord, why me? Yung mga pagsubok na akala mo wala nang katapusan… yung minsan gusto mo nang maglaho na lang sa mundo para matapos na,” she continued.

Neri earned the nickname “Wais na Misis” thanks to her awe-inspiring entrepreneurial success while juggling the roles of a mother, a homemaker, and a student.

Her book isn’t just any book but a survival guide for all the fearless women out there embarking on the challenging yet thrilling journey of motherhood and entrepreneurship, packed with invaluable advice on navigating life’s inevitable curveballs that come their way.

When introducing her book on Instagram, Neri shared her raw and unfiltered experiences of her failures and offered tips on how to bounce back from these hurdles.

Her approach is simple but powerful: “Instead of seeing failure as a dead end, tinatry kong tingnan to as feedback. Kung ano ang hindi nagwork, baka it is offering clues, or nagiging guide about what might work better next time,” she said.

Neri also shared how she always held onto the belief that everything aligns perfectly in God’s time, emphasizing that kindness and trust in the divine plan can ultimately lead to blessings, she added.

“We should be transparent about our failures and show how we’ve learned and grown from them. Nasasaktan tayo. Nadadapa. Nahihirapan bumangon. Pero wag tayong susuko kahit maraming naka abang na mga tao na gusto kang bumagsak at pabagsakin, wag na wag tayong susuko. Tayo ang magko-control ng buhay natin kasama ng mga mahal natin sa buhay, hindi sila,” she added.

The book, published by Penguin Random House SEA, is now available at National Book Store, Fully Booked, and Amazon, ready to empower women to win life’s challenges.
