e-Gilas, the Philippines’ virtual basketball team has snagged a spot in the World Finals of eFIBA Season 2, set to take place in Sweden from November 24 to 26.
“eGilas are heading to Sweden to represent the Philippines at the eFIBA Season 2 World Championship!,” the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) dropped the news that thrilled Pinoy basketball fans.

The Pinoy NBA 2K squad achieved this milestone by schooling Indonesia in the best-of-three eFIBA Season 2 Regional Championship, earning the right to represent Asia.
Before their big regional win, e-Gilas scored an immaculate 4-0 sweep of the elimination round, dominating India, Singapore, Mongolia, and Indonesia.
With a brilliant mix of skills, strategy, and teamwork, the digital ballers proved they’re the real MVPs.
